BOSTRÖM 37 - Proudly Swedish

Bostrom 37, a Swedish offshore beauty

It was built by PORALI MARIN AB in Sweden beteen 1979 to 1986. They had contacts with Hallberg- Rassy and helped them with the hull. And you can see alot of Rassy in this vessel, we call Boström for a "Orust Built" and are verry broud of it. You all know Rassy and Najad, quality boats that are build in the region Orust on the West coast.

They were built for the Baltic sea, the North Sea, the Atlantic and you can just look in Google and find alot of boats crusing arround the world.

They are way over-built, but not that heavy, 8 ton (about 18000 lbs). They are design with a lead keel and a heavy one, so they will probebly turn 360 degree and without break the mast.

The power of the Bostrom is in the foresail. The main is tall and narrow, easily reefed and even in hard wether you dont often have to make your sail reefed.

This is a beautifull boat, powerfull and safe!
